Sunblock vs Sunscreen

What is the difference with these two and what is effective?

Fun fact: we are not using the term Sunblock anymore
Because its the FDA prohibited using the term sunblock because there is NO products that can block the sun.

So for them the applicable terms to use is Mineral and Chemical sunscreen
what is the difference?

When your using Mineral SC the ultraviolet light will reflect or bounce off so your skin will not be damaged.

While in Chemical SC it will absorb the ultraviolet radiation and convert it into harmless heat so your skin will not be damaged.

Well, for me Both are effective. Just make sure pick the label with broad-spectrum. So your skin will be protected from both UVA and UVB.

According to google UVA is responsible for photoaging and UVB is the reason why we get sunburn.

Always be mindful and check the ingredients if your buying skincare.
Philippines is actually known for having the best skin care products. Just go to shopee lazada or tiktok there are many options for skincare.

But you need to research first before using any products. So it will not harm you.

Please see attached pictures if you want to know what im using personally. This is my favorite. BELO products is not so much affordable but for me its worth every penny

I looked on Amazon for Belo, it's:
Belo Essentials Belo SunExpert Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreen, SPF50, PA+++, 50mL
1.76 Ounce (Pack of 1)
4.2 out of 5 stars 16
$15.75 ($8.93/Ounce) That's 834 Philippine Pesos, yikes.

I like Banana boat it's about 1/2 the price of Belo, but it may be cheaper there in the Phils.

Or, I'll use every day, Eucain Daily Hydration Cream w/ Broad Spectrum SPF30 which is enough this time of year, since the sun is weak from October to March.
