Outdated education system in PH

Student life here in Philippines. are you curious?

Filipino kids are built different haha. Kids here takes 7 to 8 classes a day.
My kids day starts 7am and they finish at 4:30pm
After that, sometimes they have extra curriculars like cheerleading or sports.

so we have a neighbor from canada they visit here for vacation, saying that her kids in High school is from 8am to 2pm.
Here in PH, when your in college you have to take 7 to 8 classes per semester.
while her daughter in Canada took about 3 to 5 classes per sem.

No sugarcoating, it is bad. I wish someday we'd elect the right people in power and we'll have the same education with Canada!
too much of unnecessary subjects.
A lot of repetitive and unrelated subjects

imagine sacrificing this much but ending up unemployed because the standard is too high even with minimum wage.

Philippine college has a lot of subjects or units
Unlike america have less units so they have more time to become working students.

Our education only focus on memorization instead of hands on teaching of technological skills.

Lol this is so true. Hahaha i hope our government can fix this. I dont think teachers is the one to blame. Because they are just following the DEP ED.

Thats why some foreigners cant stand to study here they say its exhausting haha
