All saints day

I dont know if its the same to other countries. But all saints day is celebrated in the Philippines first of november.
November 1 to 2. We visit cemeteries and visit our families graves. Offer flowers and food, prayers and candles.

Ofcourse, weve been busy with our daily life but its a good thing that November 1 is holiday and a specific day for our love ones who already past away. So there is no reason for you to forget them or not visit them.

Many filipino families also gather and have a family bonding or reunion in cemeteries, some is visiting to provinces and some is going here in manila.

Its sad that my grandmother and grandfathers graves were not visited this year. Im here in manila for my work. So I just light a candle outside our house. That also traditional here in the Philippines.
