Banig

I just want to share one of the Philippines made product is BANIG traditional handwoven mat.

I still remember that we only use this as sleeping mat. Then, my father built a PAPAG i think its bed frame in english. He did not use the bamboo, he use woods. Thats how simple our bed before.
But now, we now have a uratex foam, its more comfortable now yes.

But i just miss my childhood days. Brings back the memories, good old days.

Banig is also one of my childhood memory My mother always say in the afternoon get the banig and then sleep haha i miss my mother

Until now I have it here at home. Its pretty vintage, its from my husbands mom, actually this is where I gave birth to my firstborn and second child. These Banig are also very durable and memorable thats why i keep it clean and safe

Hi ems. Its nice that you still have banig in your house. I cant see people here selling banig i guess i will see it on province area.
