PASTIL

Do you know what is PASTIL? Here in the Philippines, most of the people work every day, some in companies, some in super markets, some are vendors in the road and market and anywhere else. Sometimes the only break time here for us is 30 minutes to one hour, enough to rest and eat. This is one of the very Affordable meals here in the Philippines. This is PASTIL, I just bought it for 20 pesos with a side dish and rice. It is made of rice, and topped with a strip of chicken meat sautéed with some ingredients. It's very tasty and very affordable, I often buy it especially when I'm very tired and don't want to cook. For 20 pesos you can have a quick meal right away. It's not much but it's enough for me. I also don't know why we Filipinos are used to eating a lot of rice, we all know that it's not good for our health, but we are Filipino that why RICE IS LIFE TO US. 
 
 

Really pastil is 20 pesos in your place? Here pastil range 40- 50 pesos and i think its better for me to cook than to buy pastil. Haha
But i cannot denied that pastil in the restaurant have a very yummy taste and aroma because it covers in a banana leaves. 

Pastil here is 60 pesos HAHAHA with sunny side up egg

Yes its only 20 pesos very cheap. As you can see its small its ok for 20 you can choose if you want spicy or not
