Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 10) — International travelers no longer need to present their COVID-19 vaccination certificate to enter the country, the Department of Health (DOH) announced Wednesday.
The announcement comes with the updated guidelines on vaccine certificates for inbound and outbound travelers.
"All arriving international travelers are accepted regardless of their vaccination status," DOH said, listing its updated rules.
Meanwhile, the vaccination requirements of international travelers departing the Philippines depend on the country of destination.
"It is highly recommended that the travelers should check on the requirements of the country that he or she is going," DOH said.
The requirements, including the International Certificate of Vaccination for Prophylaxis for Yellow Fever Vaccine, for Overseas Filipino Workers will likewise depend on the requirement of their respective company or agency.
