I havent went to cebu, But I knew that its a beautiful place and have many tourist spot. Don't buy a car very quick, you should explore the city first. There were many tourist guide around there, I think they will help you but dont trust to much, the best option was a travel and tour agency that you may search on google, so you have all in including tourist guide and accommodation.

So once you like the city, you can do the step by step on buying a condo and car.

Hope this help. tc .

Hi, I'm from Cebu. To answer your question, Cebu is a nice place. There are many things that you can explore, like foods, tourist spots, traditions and of course our lovely beaches. Northern and Southern Cebu offers best beautiful beaches. In Cebu City and nearby cities offers chilling moments during night time. Cebuanos are very hospitable persons, and friendly person. With regards to driving, just an honest opinion, its really hard to drive in Cebu City specially during peak hours, rainy season and special occasions, streets experience heavy traffic. If up you'll leave here , you'll get used to it. :) However, roads heading to Northern Cebu and bound to Southern Cebu is quite wide. If you're here already, best thing to do is not to buy a car yet. Try first going to a must try beautiful places round Cebu, anyway there are offers for Car or Motorbike Rental. You can rent it by weekly, monthly or yearly. Hope to see you there!

If you search maps.google.com “cebu Philippines condos for sale,” you will see that virtually all of them are within a radius of one mile. I’ve spent all my time on the West coast (Toledo/Balamban) and rented a motorbike, which worked just fine for me.

If you’re located centrally in Cebu City you can walk to most places. If you want to travel farther Jeepneys (and “multicabs”) have specific routes, like America (and probably Germany) has. There are bus routes with quite nice buses that you might use, for instance if you wanted to go to Carcar City. The ubiquitous trike (tricyles) see

I think trikes charge 15 peso but they can carry more than one person, so if you want to hire one I’d guess that 100php note will get you anywhere inside the city. (Someone please correct me on this) There are taxis, grab and uber for longer rides. From my experience, the taxis are strange. For instance, get off a ferry from Bohol, in Cebu City and the taxi will charge you 3-4x normal. Walk away from the ferry two blocks and magically, the taxi fare drops. You wipe your butt with 100 € notes, so you probably don’t care about such things, anyway ;>

You can rent a motorbike or a car, but make sure that where you are staying offers secure parking.

Cebu is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines with so much to offer from amazing beaches, waterfalls, beautiful mountains. I love cebu because their lifestyle and facilities (both traditional and modern), luxurious activities, and world-class amenities are unique, try to visit it first just give it a try.. so you can know the beauty of the Philippines

I also really want to go to Cebu .the center of trade, commerce, and tourism in the Visayas. I hope that happens hehe Cebuanos are really kind and respectful and then they say that crime will be rare there.. Duterte is from there, am I right. I also want to get there in PANAGASMAGA. Do you know that place.. it is said to be beautiful there.. and also Cebu is said to be the wealthiest provinces in the Philippines,
