WHAT IS YOUR BUDGET MEALS?

We are all affected by inflation. The prices is getting higher for everything. As a mom my main problem everyday is what food will i cook or put in the table. Share your BUDGET MEALS. Dishes that is delicious and yummy but affordable.

Everyday i go to the near wet market or talipapa near my house.

I make sure i have ground pork always para gisa gisa na lang.

Example meal is
*Cabbage with oyster sauce with giniling
*Pork giniling with tomato sauce
*Sisig tofu
*Hyacinth bean with sotanghon
*Ampalaya
I make sure we have banana everyday if i have budget also buy mangoes and watermelon

one of my problems every day
to think of a dish that fits in my budget. thats why I just plant in front of our house, some vegetables that can easy to plant like tomatoes, okra, eggplant, sweet potatoes. It can also reduce expenses when I go in the market... somehow it helps me to save

Since i am not home the whole week and kids are left so what i do is that im buying them food good for a week and mostly frozen goods or ready to cook meal hotdogs and a tray of egg...once or twice a week i let them cook viand like sinigang na baboy chicken adobo or macaroni soup

Sis rachelle ground pork is a must (pang sahog) today i cooked adobong sitaw and telapia 4pcs it cost me 300 pesos for this meal.

Sis jona tender juicy hotdog here cost 300 pesos 1KG. And egg is 295 pesos medium large is 310 pesos per tray i dont want to buy frozen foods if my kids will see hotdogs or nuggets in the ref they will not eat vegies

Sis jona yes frozen foods like hotdog nuggets, chicken sticks and eggs is important. Also tocino is my kids favorite

I do not recommend frozen foods for children. please only feed them twice a week or better once a week. give them a day when they can eat such things, for example" only on Saturday we can eat processed foods". So they know their limit. because it is not really good for the childs health there are no nutrients in those foods. lets budget our meal but think carefully about what we eat . Let's save money but also please consider our health, especially our children. maybe instead of saving, we will spend twice as much in the future.
