What do you think is the main reason why most Filipinos are poor?

Here in the Philippines, there are a lot of Filipinos who complain about being poor but dont really do anything to change their situation. And I think one reason theres a lot of crime here is because of the state of living and lack of education.

Hello darling about your question why some Filipino are remaining poor or most Filipino is poor
They say that being poor is a matter of choice if youre lazy, youll remain poor, but if youre hardworking, youll succeed. But what if youre super hardworking and still not progressing? how to explain this There are many factors contributing to why many Filipinos are poor. Firstly, theres a lack of education or the inability to attend school. Some have completed their education but still cant find jobs due to limited job opportunities. Secondly, is the very low wages here in the Philippines Thirdly, theres widespread corruption start from the government down even in the Barangay thats all i can say 
 

this is based on what we studied when i attended seminar in our barangay, the main reason is early pregnancy, unwanted pregnancy, not having birth control or contraceptive. that is one of the main reason "MAKING BABIES"

Filipinos tend to be too extravagant waaahh! Like when have birthdays fiesta  you feel the need to prepare a lot even if youre short on cash. What we do is borrow money just to host and invite many people. WaaahhH! This is just one of the many traits of Filipinos why were in the hardship of life
