I reviewed Anaya Beach Resort on Bantayan Island so you can decide if it is worth it.

The standard aircon room is 2000 per night, and a family room is 2800 PHP per night—a 10% discount for extended stays. I just checked on Agoda, and they have fan rooms from 1200 PHP and up.
The place is clean. They could have put more effort into cleaning the beach for seaweed, but no biggie.
They have a fridge and a safe but no water boiler in the room. I'm not sure if this will be in the fan rooms.
Their internet worked reasonably well in periods around their sitting area, but it was not working in the room for the most part. My Smart card worked slowly, but I could at least upload videos if I accepted that it would take some time.
We got a room with an old TV but saw newer TVs in other rooms. I just converted my H265 files to H264 with HandBrake, and it would play my downloaded TV shows via USB—no NetFlix on this TV.
It's an old type of aircon, but it works well and is not too noisy.
The beds were good. No complaints.
The shower has hot water and decent water pressure.
The staff is excellent. We love them all, and they gave us a great stay.

Breakfast is not included. You can order simple Filipino dishes, but they are overcharging for them. This is food that should be less than 100 PHP.
Bantayan Island is a great place to have a relaxing vacation, and Anaya Beach Resort is about as good as it gets to stay. They offer to cook the local food you bought for 100 PHP per kilo. This is much better than an in-house restaurant, as you should try their scallops, clamps, oysters, grilled fish, shrimps, and crabs together with some mango, watermelon, and rice, eating on the beach while watching the sunset.
They have very reasonable prices for beer and soft drinks.
It is about 1.5 kilometers to walk to the town, or you can go for about 200 meters and take a trike from there for 50 PHP.
This place is much better than what you find along Kota Beach, and if you go to Bantayan Island for a vacation, I would not want to stay in a hotel. A beach resort is the only option.
