Jessa and I paid 2200 per night, and this is too much for what we got compared to, for example, Pier Quatro and Yello Hotel. The price should have been around 1250 PHP and up to 2000 PHP for the most expensive rooms. They priced themselves above hotels with better service and food for a lower budget.
The room was clean.
They have a fridge, a safe, and a water boiler in the room.
We got lucky with the internet, as the router was outside our room. Many people complained about the internet and sat outside our room to do online activities and work. This is not good enough for the price range offered.
The TV had plenty of channels, and we could watch TV shows via USB. It was also a smart TV, so we could watch Netflix.
Old-style aircon that made a bit of noise, but nothing we could not handle.
The beds were good.
The shower had hot water and decent pressure.
The staff were friendly.
Housekeeping every day unless you let them know not to disturb.
The breakfast included is a small serving of local-style food or a small serving of three international-style breakfasts. If you order the French toast with beans and pork, you receive a French toast and a box of canned beans with a few pork slices. That box cost around 25 PHP in the store. For all people who are so happy with their breakfast reviews, try Pier Quatro or Yello Hotel, which has cheaper rooms and a small buffet-style breakfast. The one at Yello is the best. For prices less than 2000 PHP, it will be hard to find a better breakfast.
The hotel is close to the Mango area, with nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and everything else needed for a night out. However, if you go to Dynasty Tourist Inn, you get the same quality room, a bit better internet in most rooms, and a local Philippine breakfast for around 1000 to 1100 PHP.
I don't think it's a bad place to stay; I just find other offers to be better.
