In Colon Night Market, you can find cheap clothes, shoes, and electronics, among other things. While buying a phone cover, slippers, or clothes would be OK, you should never buy any electrical products as they are mostly, if not all, fake goods of various qualities. Fire hazards are one issue; another is destroying your expensive phone or laptop because you want to save a dime.
When it comes to clothes, I would be careful, too. They might not be safe to wear. Many fake and other incredibly cheap clothes use chemicals that are not approved for coloring. This could result in a cancer diagnosis later in life because they are cheap now. Just think about it; if you don't know much about it, you can Google it.
For me, it is more about the atmosphere. I rarely buy anything; if I do, it is not clothes or electronics.

Carbon Night Market, or Farmer's Market, is just a 15-minute walk from Colon Night Market. I love places like this. It is like a time travel, and I urge anyone visiting Cebu City as a tourist to check it out. If you live in a hotel and are not cooking while you stay here, don't go for the vegetables; come for the atmosphere surrounding it all, and at the very least, bring back some vegetables and try some local snacks.
While you are first here, I dare you to try Balut. While it is all sorts of wrong for the time we live in, it is something you should experience as a tourist.
